Browser - Perform a Browser Reset [Mac]

Resetting your web browser (Safari, Firefox, or Chrome) is your first troubleshooting step for any issues you experience on the web, including Full Sail Online. Choose your web browser from below and follow the instructions provided. Windows users click here.

Safari Reset:

Step 1. Open Safari and click "Safari" on the top left next to the  and then choose "Clear History..."


Step 2. A pop-up will appear, change the time range to "All History"

Click "Clear History" to complete the reset.

OS X 10.9 MAVERICKS and earlier versions

Step 1. Open Safari and click "Safari" on the top left next to the  and then choose "Reset Safari"

 

Step 2. A pop-up will appear, review the screenshot below and ensure at least the following two boxes are checked off:

  • "Remove all website data"
  • "Close all safari windows"

Click "Reset" to complete the reset.

 

Firefox Reset:
Step 1. Open FireFox and select "History" on the top menu bar and then click "Clear Recent History"

Note: For older versions of Firefox (before version 21)  "Clear Recent History" is found under "Tools"

Step 2. A pop-up will appear. Set the "Time Range to Clear" as "Everything." Under "Details" the following should be selected:
-Cookies
-Cache
-Offline Website Data

Select "Clear Now" to complete the reset. Your cursor may turn into the spinning rainbow wheel for a few moments while reset completes.


Google Chrome Reset:
Step 1. Open Chrome and go to "Chrome" on the top left next to the  and then choose "Clear Browsing Data"


Step 2. A pop-up will appear. Next to "Obliterate the following items from," select "the beginning of time." Make sure the following items are checked from the list:

-Empty the cache
-Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data

Next click "Clear browsing data." Your cursor may turn into the spinning rainbow wheel for a few moments while reset completes.
