Adobe Reader DC - Installation

This tutorial will walk you through the process of installing Adobe Reader. The first set of instructions refers to Mac, and the second set refers to Windows.

Mac Instructions:
Step 1. First, you will need to download the installer for Adobe Flash Player, if you still need to download Adobe Flash Player, please click here. To access the Adobe Reader download page, please click here. Click on the “Download Now” button and the installer will download to your Downloads folder.


Step 2. Double-click on the installer from your Finder window.


Step 3. When the window comes up, double-click on “Install Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.”


Step 4. Click on “Open” to allow the application to install.


Step 5. Enter your computers password.


Step 6. Adobe Reader will now download and install onto your computer.


Step 7. Once done it will say “Installation Complete.” Click “Finish” to close.



Windows Instructions:
Step 1. First you will need to download the installer for Adobe Flash Player. Click here to get to the Adobe Reader download page. Uncheck the option to install “McAfee Security Scan Plus,” then click on the “Download Now” button. The installer will download to your Downloads folder.


Step 2. Click on “Save File” if the computer prompts you.


Step 3. Double-click on the installer from your Downloads folder.


Step 4. Click on “Run” to allow the program to run.


Step 5. You may have to allow the program to install. Click “Yes.”


Step 6. Choose how you would like the software to update and hit “Next.” The recommended settings are usually best.


Step 7. Adobe Reader will now download and install onto your computer. Once it is done, it will say “Installation Complete”. Click “Finish” to close.
