ScreenFlow - Installation

This tutorial will walk you through downloading, installing, and setting up your Screenflow software. If you run into any problems with the installation, please contact ScreenFlow technical support at: http://www.telestream.net/telestream-support/screen-flow/support.htm

 

Step 1. Download and install the software by clicking on the appropriate link depending on which version you will need:

Screenflow 4.0 (Proceed to Step 2)

Screenflow 4.5 (Proceed to Step 2)

Screeflow 5.0   (Proceed to Step 1A)

 

Step 1A  For Screenflow 5 only you will need to Fill out the form using your first and last name as well as the email address you will like to use for Telestream to send you the link to. Once filled click on "Send My Download Link"

Step 1B Log into your email account and locate the email sent from Telestream. Click on the blue "Download Now" button.

 

Step 2. Your software will begin to download. When its complete, you will see the License and terms agreement window open, then click ‘Agree’

 

Step 3 Move ScreenFlow to your Applications folder by dragging the ScreenFlow icon into the folder. Double click and open the program.

 

 
Step 4. Screenflow opens and a small window should appear in the middle of your screen. This is the set up for your video and audio. You can ignore this for now or complete the settings, its up to you. When finished click the 'X' in the upper left corner.

 

Step 5. You should see the name ScreenFlow in the top left corner. Click on Purchase/Unlock ScreenFlow.

 

Step 6. Choose the Licenses tab, if not already chosen, and click on the padlock in the lower left corner. You will need to the main password for your laptop. If you did not create one when setting up your computer, then just hit 'OK'.

 

Step 7. Choose 'Enter Serial Number'

 

Step 8. Leave the name field blank and enter your serial number from this email. Click 'Activate' and your done. ScreenFlow is registered and ready to use.
