Downloading eBooks to your computer, iPhone, iPad or Android
Step 1. Ebooks can be downloaded to an e-reader software and you can access them whenever you want. You will need Adobe Digital Editions for your laptop, and Bluefire Reader for the iPhone, iPad, or Android. For download instructions, click here and scroll down to “How to Download eBooks”.

Step 2. Once you have downloaded the Adobe Digital Editions Reader, you will need to create an EBSCO account and sign in. For a video tutorial of this process, please click here.

Step 3. To get to the eBooks, return to the Search Page.

Step 4. That will take you to the eBook Collection and eBook Search.

Step 5. Once you do your search, click on the eBook. An abstract appears. On the left side of the abstract is a link to “Download The eBook”. Once downloaded, the eBook will now open with the Adobe Digital Editions Reader software.

Most of the eBooks are checked out for two weeks. At the end of that period, the eBook will disappear from the Adobe Reader. You will be unable to check the eBook in until the checkout period has passed. To recheck it out, you will have to navigate through the original process that gave access to the eBook. If an eBook is checked out, you can reserve it. Just follow the instructions that will appear on your screen.
